Well, here it is middle of February and I haven't blogged in over a month. I've taken tons of pictures and we've done some fun things, but in the midst of photo-ing and fun-ing, I haven't had much time for blog-ing. :(
I have a very hard time editing pictures of my kids - not editing them in photoshop mind you, but editing down the many pictures I take and just taking one or two of the best and moving on. Seems I love them all - I suppose it's the subject matter.
I tried to take some fun pictures of my boy to mark his 5 awesome years on this earth . . . Yep, these are almost all the same, but I can't part with one of them, so here they are. Have I mentioned that I love him?
I've been thinking of taking a picture of the kids on our front porch for quite some time now - I wanted the house number in the picture and well. This is kinda what I had in mind. I don't know how long we will be in this house, but it's our home, and I wanted a way to remember it . . . and have the kids remember it.
We've had such a mild winter. It's been wonderful. I've loved the sunshine - loved it!
Speaking of sunshine, this little lady is Little Miss Eternal Sunshine. Always smiling and usually happy. Have I mentioned that I love her?
Seems everything is a gun now-a-days. From what I hear, this just magically happens when little boys turn 5.
I had a great picnic with my little lady recently. She arranged her blanket and the plates and food. She even invited her pink pony (although I tried to convince her that vegetables and fruit would be a better choice for a pony, but she insisted that the pony needed an egg and some chicken), and our dog, Scout sat down to join the party. The wonderful hostess that she is, she gave Scout a plate and a large chunk of cheese for playing along.
Oh, fun in the tub. She'd laugh at herself all night long, and as much fun as she was having, I think I was having more. . .
My Boy - thinking of having this printed on a large square canvas. I did say I loved him, right?
And my Little Lady. She's amazing & I love her. So much. So, so much. . .
Aaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd. . . we're caught up.
For now. :)

Her happiness must be modeled well for her. I love it when kids look at themselves in reflections like that. So cute.
