We spent Saturday afternoon at the Chalk Walk in the historic Northeast neighborhood of Kansas City. There were people there of all talents - from really, beautiful complicated chalk art to local neighborhood kids that requested their own square to decorate. We got there just as the festival was starting, so we didn't see too many completed projects (and then it rained today, so we couldn't go back), but we managed to borrow some colorful chalk and we left our own little mark on a secluded sidewalk at the park.
Just spending the weekend enjoying the simple things. Hope you are too!
