Delivered

I've been blogging about my family here for a little over a year.

I'm not a scrapbooker, or even one to print out my photos (eek!!), but somehow I've managed to keep up with this blog, and I REALLY wanted to somehow preserve this for my family to have for many years to come . . . . who knows, Al Gore may decide he wants his Internet back one day and this could disappear (eek again!).

Enter
Blog2Print.

This site converts your blog into a soft or hard bound book. You get to choose which posts, the dates . . . basically anything you want.

Photobucket

This was incredibly easy to do - just pushed a few buttons and VOILA - I could view my book online, make any changes needed, and then order.

It was such a simple process, and the final result . . . well, it's beautiful and special and everything I had hoped it would be.

I highly encourage all my blogging friends out there to have your blog printed. This is certainly one of my new favorite treasures, and I'm sure it will be for many, many years to come!

All before 8:30

Already this morning . . .

We've watched a little Wonder Pets . . . "What's gonna work? Teamwork!"

Photobucket

I've sat and wondered what I'm going to do with this hair.

Photobucket

I've also been licked on the cheek on 3 occasions by this little lady who thinks she's a puppy today. (Nope, make that 4 . . . she just got me again)

I've played 2 games of "Burger Time" with this little fella here on the cocktail arcade.

Photobucket

And . . .

Made some smoothies.
Ate some Povitica.
Changed a few diapers.
Doled out the milk.
Cleaned up some cars (the hotwheel kind).

Wonder what else today has in store. . .

Can you guess what flavors they picked?

Hope you are having a fun summer!

And this image here . . . .

Well, there are just no words.

I love her.

Objects May Appear Larger Than Actual Size

My munchkins have thoroughly enjoyed this pool, but I do have a beef with the manufacturer. . . How in the WORLD did they fit 3 kiddos and an adult in this pool to take the picture for the outside of the packaging that it came in? (Did that even make sense).

Photobucket

Warning: Objects Printed On Box May Appear Larger Than Actual Size.

Photobucket

I do think my little ones were having more fun than the kiddos pictured on the box, so I guess it kinda all works out, right?

Photobucket

Yeah, it all works out.

Have a happy day!

Tonight

He and I did his usual bed-time routine. We read a story, did hugs and kisses, and then he took great pride in having me leave the room while he turned out his light, closed his door and then climbed into his crib.

Instead of drifting off into dreams, he was restless and called for me. I went into his room and he wanted more loves, more snuggles, more kisses . . . and then he asks me,

"Mom, can you sleep with me?"

No big boy, I can't sleep with you.

"Why not?"

Well, your bed is too little for me and you.

"It's not. Can you please sleep with me?"

Sweetheart, I wish I could.

"Well, can I sleep with you in yours and Daddy's big bed?" (never, never, never has he wanted to do this. Even when he's been sick, and I brought him into our room, he still didn't want to sleep in our bed)

You know this is your bed . . . and you like your bed.

"I do, but can you just sleep with me?"

Photobucket

My heart may have melted a little bit there.

Tomorrow that boy will get his own big-boy bed, and he will age approximately 10 years as soon as I see his tiny little frame sleeping in it.

I'm off to dreams myself, but tonight I just wanted to take a minute to jot down this tale. I know there will come a day when he doesn't want much to do with me, and these moments . . . well, it's these moments that make my heart smile, and I love that.

I'm looking forward to laying down with him in his big-boy-bed and reading stories and giving loves and snuggles and kisses.

I hope he is too.

Wash Your Hands

Perhaps you can't tell, but she's covered in mashed potatoes.

Photobucket

She thought it would be fun to "wash hands" with the potatoes. She smeared them all over her hands and up her arms as if they were hand soap. She then proceeded to eat them from between her fingers.

Yes, it was messy . . . maybe a bit gross . . . but adorable as well.

I love this little lady!

A Hot Wheel

Remember these things?

Photobucket

The only difference is that there is no side brake on our "newer" model here.

Photobucket

The munchkins don't seem to mind though.

Hope you are having a wonderful summer.

In My Heart

This face . . .

is forever etched into my heart.

Oh, how I love this munchkin!

Independence Weekend

We all traveled down to Tablerock Lake for the weekend of the 4th to spend some time with Dirck's sister and family. This was our first "lake" trip, and already, I can't wait to go back.

My munchkins LOVED the boat and the tube. A lot of love goes out to my nieces and nephew for keeping my little people safe on the tube.

Photobucket

My little man asks me all the time when we are going to go back tubing. Evidently, he's an expert now.

Photobucket

My little lady loved the water and tubing as well - so much so, that when it wasn't her turn, she had a hard time being happy in the boat (she is 2, after all).

Photobucket

And my little man even got to captain the ship with the help of his Aunt Denise. Hey, big boy . . . pay attention . . . 10 and 2 . . . keep your eyes straight ahead! Clearly, I will be no fun when he is learning to drive.

Photobucket

Oh, and did I mention that my little lady is 2 now? And along with the sweetness and adorableness comes quite a bit of attitude . . . this is her new position when she's frustrated.

Photobucket

She did learn something new though . . . seems that pool water and pool noodles don't taste so good.

Photobucket

And I learned something new too . . . like how much your bones ache (I would say muscles, but it's been YEARS since I had any muscles) after tubing and trying not only to hold on to the tube, but two munchkins as well. Yep, I'm officially an "old lady."

Photobucket

But, it was fun. And I would do it again (sore bones and all) to hear up close and personal the laughter and squeals from these 2 excited munchkins.

We Are Family

So I think this will be the final beach post.

What's that, you say?

Thank goodness, you say?

Oh, I understand. I've been a bit obsessive about them.

Just a few more, and then we are done until next year . . . or until I want to post them again. I can do that, you know. It's my blog. :)

Here's the only family picture we took during our time there. As you can see, not all of the munchkins were cooperative.

Photobucket

And this picture . . . well, it melts my heart. You see why, don't you?

Photobucket

And where would I be without this guy here? Not on this vacation, that's for sure. He planned the whole thing, and I'm so grateful to him for this much needed family time. Yes, I guess you could say, I love him. :)

Photobucket

I guess you could say I love all of them . . . because I do. . .

Love them. . .

All of them. . .

Forever and ever.
Amen.

Beachcombers

They spent some time digging in the sand for treasures.

Photobucket

And they spent some time inspecting their treasures.

Photobucket

They floated in the water while looking for fish (we actually saw a turtle and a few fish too).

Photobucket

And they played, played, played . . . .

Photobucket

And I watched and smiled and was (am) happy to be their momma.

Photobucket

Have a wonderful weekend.

I Hope You Dance

Just because you can't hear it . . .

Doesn't mean there isn't any music.

Photobucket

Sometimes a girl just has to dance.

Happy 4th-of-July!

What could possibly be more fun to do today than sitting on the porch and eating popsicles?

Photobucket

Probably nothing.

Photobucket

I hope you have a wonderfully messy 4th!

Little Man

Here he is on the porch at "our beach house."

Photobucket

That's what he started calling the cabin at the beach, and I like how that sounds, so I still don't correct him when he says it. . . . As in, "Momma, when are we going back to our beach house?"

I don't know, little man.

Hopefully soon.

This Morning

Fresh out of dreams.
Still in her jammies.
Loving this bed hair.
The boys in our life were still snoozing, so it was just me and her and her sippy of milk.

Photobucket

One of my favorite times of the day.
