Tea Time

Our poor dog, Scout.

She's so nice and friendly, and she would never tell my little lady that she was annoying her.



They had a nice little tea-party on the floor the other night. My little one would fill her cup, and then push her mouth down to the cup so she would drink it.

And sweet little Scout just let her . . .

Oh, and please never mind that dirty, dirty, cluttered living room floor - I have no idea in who's home these pictures were taken!

Choo-choo Train

Chugga-chugga, chugga-chugga . . . CHOO! CHOO!



They made themselves into a train. She was the engine, and he was the caboose. The green watering can is the engine's horn (which she took great pride in blowing).

I love that I caught them together. My babes. . .

Lovely Boy

Should you even use the word "lovely" to describe a boy? There are other more masculine adjectives to describe him, but today, and in this picture, the word "lovely" came to mind.



Is that wrong?

He truly is though . . . just lovely.

Today . . .

I'm REALLY disliking mosquitoes.



I mean REALLY disliking them.

Reading Comprehension

She's 2, and there are times when I think she is the smartest little thing in this world, and other times when I wonder if she even understands ANYTHING I say to her.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I think she understands things perfectly fine.

She's a big OLIVIA fan . . . you know the sassy little pig on the Nick Jr station?

We have a book titled "Olivia Saves the Circus" that we read sometimes before bedtime.



I've never paid much attention to this page, but evidently my little lady has.

She happened to have a pen (by magic, I'm sure) in her car seat the other day, and when I went to get her out, she informed me that she was in the circus.



"Circus, Momma"

That's right . . . just like her BFF Olivia who was a tattooed lady and drew the tattoos on with a marker, my little lady drew her tattoos on with a ballpoint pen.

And she was quite proud of herself . . .

just like Olivia.

Legos

Nana came to visit last week.

She's becoming such a little independent stinker! It's good though, and she by far has the most animated expressions of all of us. I love that . . . and these pictures . . . and her.

I'm so thankful to finally have some new pictures of my family. I'm so grateful to have another photo-enthusiast friend in the area that was willing to meet up on one of the hottest & most humid days of the year for a few pictures.
