A Day at THE "K"

The "K" for those of you non-Kansas Citians is Kauffman Stadium which is home of the Royals. The little man has been to a game here before - he was a mere 4 months old, and even though he had a good time, I highly doubt he remembers any of it!
Since we were there last, they have completely remodeled the ball park. It's beautiful, and they have a very nice kid's area in the outfield. We went here first and then found our way to our seats to watch about . . . . . oh, I'd say 30 minutes or so of the game before we had to leave (bedtime was calling).

The little guy had a great time on the new carousel - he got to ride the mascot lion with his Daddy.

There was also a giant marble ball fountain that spun, and depending on how much pressure you applied, you could change the direction of the spinning.

He thought this was the coolest thing ever!

Once in our seats, he was excited to be at a baseball game.

He clapped and smiled and laughed whenever the crowd got going.
He even brought his hat and glove - just in case we needed to catch a foul ball. Of course, his sister just sipped on her water and I'm sure wondered why we were around so many people.
We had a great night at the ball park - one I'm sure the little guy will be talking about for many, many months!

Please bear with me here - I'm working on these images sizes - still learning, OK?
