My Little Lady - Sepia Tone Challenge

This week's challenge at I ♥ Faces is sepia toned images. Here's a photo I took of my littlest one. She was sitting on the swing on the front porch. I was sitting below her making sure she didn't fall off, and I liked the angle, so I grabbed my camera, and this is the lovely little shot of her sweet face that I captured.

I used my 50mm/1.8 lens, and focused on her eye, did some contrast editing in CS3, and then converted to the sepia toned image you see here. I think this one may end up in a frame at the office.

To view more sepia toned images, head on over to www.iheartfaces.com to check out all of the entries this week!

This is just beautiful. Her eyes and lips are stunning. May daughter is wearing that same shirt today :) Thank you so much for the specific lens info and focus point as well. I am here to learn so I really appreciate the tips. I plan to buy that very lens in the next few weeks so I especially appreciate seeing it in action.
Also, I hope you don't mind me saying this but I was just reading the I Heart Faces rules this morning and I am afraid you may be ineligible for the contest if your post contains other shots. I am not sure I am remembering that correctly though, you may want to doubt check.

Absolutely beautiful. She has the eyes of an old soul and the chubby cheeks of an edible baby. Love it!

Thank you! I'll have to try out that double exposure tip, I never thought about doing that! :) I love the crispness of your daughter's face and then the blurriness of the background - great photo!
